GF 201OPAE

GF 201OPAE is a 3.4 mil polymeric matte white flexible calendered PVC film coated with a grey permanent solvent pressure sensitive adhesive laminated to a 90# air-egress layflat liner. This film is designed to accept a variety of solvent-based inkjet and UV curable inks common to wide format digital printing systems. The grey adhesive creates a permanent bond to a variety of common substrates used in graphics applications. The 90# air-egress layflat liner offers excellent product layflat in a variety of ambient conditions along with ease of application of large format graphics.

What applications is GF 201OPAE intended for?

GF 201OPAE is designed for interior or exterior signage, decals, nameplates, point-of-purchase displays and added opacity with the grey opaque adhesive. The air-egress adhesive allows for bubble-free applications. (NOTE: Air-Egress adhesives are DRY APPLY ONLY).

Can GF 201OPAE be removed?

Most decals can be removed with some effort, even if they have a permanent adhesive. GF 201OPAE has a grey permanent adhesive that works on a variety of surfaces. This adhesive is permanent and will not remove cleanly, but any adhesive transfer or residue can be cleaned up easily with standard adhesive removers.

Do I need a special application tape to remove cut shapes and graphics from the 203OPAE?

Many application/transfer tapes will stick to the face of the vinyl. For transporting graphics we would recommend an tape that sticks to the exposed air-egress liner. A product like Transferite® AirMask® 510U is an example of this type of premask.
